Lady Gaga Las Vegas Residency a Done Deal

Lady Gaga Las Vegas Residency a Done Deal

"I am humbled to be a part of a historical line-up of performers, and to have the honor of creating a new show unlike anything Vegas has ever seen before", Lady Gaga said in a press conference according to Billboard. "I love Las Vegas and the people there, and I love show business".

The "Million Reasons" singer is slated to take over the Park Theater at the Park MGM in Las Vegas for her still-unnamed residency, where she'll surely play her many hit singles, as well as some new songs that probably haven't even been written yet. It has been a life-long dream of mine to play Las Vegas.

Lady Gaga shares a toast with Bill Hornbuckle, President of MGM Resorts International, after signing a Vegas residency deal over the weekend.

Part of that retrofit was to include positive train control systems that can prevent risky situations such as excessive speed. US President Donald Trump said the crash illustrated the need for infrastructure improvements. "Not for long!" he tweeted.

Bill Hornbuckle, President of MGM Resorts International said, "Our announcement today of Lady Gaga joining an unbelievable lineup of talent at Park Theater is monumental for Lady Gaga fans, MGM Resorts and the Park MGM brand. Meet me in Las Vegas baby, we did it!" Her Vegas sequined baseball cap was the ideal final touch. Celine Dion, Britney Spears, Mariah Carey and Jennifer Lopez are among stars who had or have residency shows in the city.

Gaga is to earn approximately $400,000 per performance. "And I couldn't have done it without my incredible fans, little monsters and team".

Gaga made her name nearly 10 years ago with catchy pop songs, arresting dance routines and outrageous stunts like setting her piano on fire and wearing a raw meat dress.
