Weather Forecast- Tuesday, December 12th

Temperatures will start to drop at the end of the week, the weather service said, with a 65-degree high forecast for Friday and a 63-degree high predicted for Saturday. The afternoon will be warmer and sunny in the lower 60s. We are going to see high pressure settle in for the remainder of the week as the sunny skies stick around and temperatures stay seasonable for mid-December. It's a cool start outside with temperatures down in the mid 40's and winds starting to pick up after a cold front passed through. Highs in the mid to upper 50s. There is a better chance for more widespread rain Sunday evening. Winds will be mostly calm through the day but shift to the south and pick up overnight. Expect overnight lows to fall into the mid to upper 20s. Highs in the low 60s.

Rain will linger into the morning hours Sunday and begin to dissipate through the rest of the day.

FIRST ALERT FORECAST: Not as cold tonight; cloudy skies through the weekend

Monday next week will have partly cloudy skies and a 20% chance for rain. We then clear up and cool down Wednesday. A weak cold front will move through part of the area Sunday but, will not affect temperatures very much.

Tuesday and Wednesday, our temperatures slowly warm to the mid to upper 60s under dry conditions.
