Trump accused of sexual harassment, denies allegations

Trump accused of sexual harassment, denies allegations

Later in the day, Nikki Haley, Donald Trump's United Nations ambassador, said that the women accusing Donald Trump deserve to be heard, and this pissed Donald Trump off. Reports have come out saying Donald Trump is absolutely furious with Nikki Haley right now for saying that these women deserve to be heard.

On Monday, prompted by a national reckoning with sexual harassment in media, entertainment and politics, four of the women who had previously accused Trump of sexual harassment called on Congress to investigate their allegations.

Holvey was joined by Jessica Leeds, who has said Trump groped and kissed her during a flight in the 1970s, and Rachel Crooks, who has accused Trump of repeatedly kissing her outside her office in Trump Tower. "Yet here we are with that man as president".

Leeds first spoke to The New York Times last year, alleging that Trump groped her on an airplane more than 30 years ago. "We should investigate their claims and the people who allegedly committed them regardless of their status or station in life". She later shifted her claim, saying she didn't mean that her husband raped her in a "literal or criminal" sense.

Kelly read a statement from the White House responding to the allegations.

Many of Trump's accusers, contrary to the statement, were not publicly contradicted by eyewitnesses.

It is nearly impossible to extricate Trump's past behavior from his current support of Moore.

Over the past two years, about 16 women have accused Trump of making unwanted sexual advances against them prior to his assuming the presidency. Because Trump has been pulling this same shit with women for decades.

"My hunch is it gets reviewed at the next election", Coons told CNN. "There's a tipping point", he told Jake Tapper. Three of his victims were under 13 years old.

More risky is the heat that Moore's scandals have brought back to Trump. "We can not ignore the multitude of women who have come forward with accusations against Mr. Trump", the letter reads. "We should know if he also sexually abused them".

In a statement to the program, the White House offered a total denial of all accusations of sexual misconduct.

Democratic lawmakers held a press conference on Tuesday calling for a congressional investigation into the sexual misconduct allegations against President Donald Trump. "These allegations are credible; they are numerous", she continued. Al Franken (D-MN), Rep. John Conyers (D-MI), and Rep. Trent Franks (R-AZ) all resigned in the past week amid sexual misconduct claims from multiple women.

There's really only one way to take that. One of the women accusing Donald Trump of this behavior, who he claims to have never met, is a former contestant on The Apprentice, who, yeah, you absolutely met her. Zervos is seeking an apology and nearly $3,000 in damages.

Here's the thing: Trump isn't going to resign.

The Zervos lawsuit, and the G.O.P. civil war over Trump and Moore's conduct, leave both president and party in a tough position ahead of the 2018 elections. This weekend, Vice posted a focus group of Alabama voters who are planning to vote for Moore. The Senate and House Ethics Committees investigate members of Congress, not presidents, and Republican-led committees are not apt to investigate Mr Trump on sexual misconduct unless there is some sort of connection to the ongoing Russian Federation probe.

Since winning the White House, Trump has largely avoided the topic.
