Serena Williams to return for Australian Open 2018?

Williams' coach Patrick Mouratoglou, in an interview to CNN, had earlier said that the decision on Serena's return will be taken after seeing how she fares in training.

In January 2017, Serena Williams defeated her sister Venus Williams to lift the Australian Open.

Australian Open tournament director Craig Tiley believes the first major of the year will be able to accommodate Serena's bolstered following.

However, tournament director Craig Tiley raised hopes of a return to action for the 23-time Grand Slam victor who will be having a crack at her seventh Melbourne Park crown after marrying Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian last month.

"She's got her visa, she's entered, she's practising and she's probably just got to find a bit more space for a bigger entourage".

"She wants to break a record that is Margaret Court's", Mr Tilley said.

When new users receive money for the first time, it's simply added to their new Apple Pay Cash card once they accept the terms. They can pay by transferring funds using the feature instead of opening an entire app or hitting the ATM to settle the debt.

"We look forward to welcoming her and again go on that journey of breaking the all-time record for the most number of grand slams".

In her absence Serena has dropped to No. 22 in the WTA Rankings but she will likely be considered the favourite to triumph should she indeed return at the 2018 Australian Open.

Tiley described the Australian Open, which will be held from January 15-28, as a "family-friendly event".

"We will see how her body is reacting and how her tennis level is".
