Chandimal left out of ODI squad

Sri Lanka have announced their squad for the upcoming 3-match ODI series against India.

The decision came after Sri Lanka suffered three consecutive ODI whitewashes this year against South Africa, India and Pakistan, under Tharanga's captaincy.

Ahead of the third Test against India in New Delhi, left-arm spinner Malinda Pushpakumara was chosen to go in as replacement for veteran Rangana Herath, but the sports ministry refused to endorse his selection as he had failed the fitness test.

Now, another controversy has hit the Sri Lankan team ahead of their limited-overs series. Now the nine players, who are included in the ODI squad are expected to fly to India on Tuesday night itself.

Their suspicions are warranted: Trump has sounded off to friends about how he doesn't like the idea of a Senator Romney. He also met with Mormon leaders. "I asked for the president's help in fixing this disaster", Hatch said .

Sri Lanka Sports Minister Dayasiri Jayasekera has prevented the national One-day International (ODI) squad from leaving the country for not getting his approval before selecting the team.

Squad: Thisara Perera (capt), Upul Tharanga, Danushka Gunathilaka, Niroshan Dickwella (wk), Sadeera Samarawickrama, Lahiru Thirimanne, Angelo Mathews, Asela Gunaratne, Chathuranga de Silva, Sachith Pathirana, Akila Dananjaya, Dushmantha Chameera, Suranga Lakmal, Nuwan Pradeep, Dhananjaya de Silva, Kusal Perera. Neither did Kusal Mendis, who was rested for the Test series.

The Minister said, the team was leaving the country without his approval, a blatant violation of the country's Sports Law which requires the incumbent Sports Minister's approval.

All-rounder Asela Gunaratne and opening batsman Danushka Gunathilaka return to the side that has lost 21 one-day games this year and won just four.
