Jimbo Fisher takes swipe at Florida State during Texas A&M intro

Fisher signed a 10-year contract worth $75 million.

The past, present and future of Texas A&M football merged together with one quip from Jimbo Fisher.

"You can have the greatest coaches in the world, but if your administration doesn't see things in the way you see things, and allow you to do things that way, nothing can be achieved", Fisher said.

That's a lot of support for Fisher, who led the Seminoles to the 2013 national championship. "I think it was a no brainer in a insane way".

"Today, I stand you with proof that Texas A&M is an opportunity for greatness", Woodward said.

"I had no plans of ever leaving there..." "And I am confident that the opportunity for greatness is right around the corner".

Clemson, Oklahoma, Georgia and Alabama will vie for national championship
Just check out the matchups we would have been able to watch, based on the top-eight in the College Football Playoff rankings... Ohio State missed out on the College Football Playoff on Sunday, with Alabama claiming the No. 4 spot instead of the Buckeyes.

Florida State improved to.500 for the first time this season, and is eligible to extend the nation's longest bowl streak to 36 years after a 42-10 victory over Louisiana Monroe on Saturday afternoon in Doak Campbell Stadium.

"Its truly a great honor and privilege to be standing here in front of you in Aggieland today, it really is", Fisher said.

Seminoles players found out about Fisher's departure before a scheduled 2 p.m. meeting Friday, where he addressed the team one last time in his eight-year tenure. The coach said he understands life in the SEC from his time at LSU and understands the expectations at the school. "There's a oneness to everything you to do be successful, and I knew he had the same vision I did".

However, that night we didn't exactly get an introductory shot of Courtney. We made a few little adjustments. "We've got to get caught up in that area".

Before the Texas A&M praise, Fisher was gracious in thanking former FSU coach Bobby Bowden, who hired him as an offensive coordinator in 2007 before he replaced Bowden as head coach in 2010.

When asked if he wants to retire at Texas A&M, Fisher had a laugh to end his press conference.
