Revisiting Garrison Keillor's last creepy old guy dispatch from Charleston

The move comes a day after Keillor was sacked from his position at Minnesota Public Radio (MPR), where he hosted the popular variety show "A Prairie Home Companion".

MPR plans to stop rebroadcasts of past episodes of "A Prairie Home Companion", the show Keillor created 43 years ago, and change the name of the show's current incarnation hosted by Chris Thile.

In a statement to the Associated Press, Keillor confirmed that he had been fired over what he cryptically described as "a story that I think is more interesting and more complicated than the version MPR heard".

The firing of the host and creator of the beloved fictional town, Lake Wobegon, came just a day after the Washington Post published an op-ed by Keillor in which he defended Sen. In August, he embarked on his 28-city Love and Comedy Tour largely based on his radio broadcast.

Meanwhile, MPR News reported that many people were angered at Keillor's dismissal and dozens planned to cancel their memberships. And it's on the house. In recent weeks, National Public Radio has also fired or suspended male executives who've been accused of harassment.

"We understand that some listeners are upset and know that the limited information we've made available at this time may not seem to justify such a consequential decision", said Angie Andresen, a spokeswoman for MPR and APM.

Shilpa Shinde Dances To Make Vikas Gupta,The New Captain
The housemates will literally dance to the tunes of DJ Vikas Gupta and DJ Priyank Sharma - at least that's what Bigg Boss wants. An interesting moment in the episode was between Luv Tyagi and Priyank where the boys talked about their "friend" Hina Khan .

"I meant to pat her back after she told me about her unhappiness, and her shirt was open and my hand went up it about six inches [15 cm]", he told the newspaper in an email. "She recoiled. I apologized", the statement reads. "Based on what we now know, there are no similar allegations involving other staff", the statement said. "We were friends. We continued to be friendly right up until her lawyer called". "No kidding", he wrote for the Washington Post.

"If I had a dollar for every woman who asked to take a selfie with me and who slipped an arm around me and let it drift down below the beltline, I'd have at least a hundred dollars", the radio presenter said.

Minnesota Public Radio is ending distribution and broadcast of The Writer's Almanac and rebroadcasts of The Best of A Prairie Home Companion hosted by Garrison Keillor, and is going to change the name of the show which is now hosted by Chris Thile. This is pure absurdity, and the atrocity it leads to is a code of public deadliness.

"So this is poetic irony of a high order".

In a statement to the Associated Press, he said he didn't want to drag MPR into a scandal: "I'm 75 and don't have any interest in arguing about this".
