IOS 11.1.1 Jailbreak Will Take Longer to Release

The firm recently released iOS 11.2 in order to fix a number of problems and also address a date-related bug that would cause Springboard to crash continuously due to third-party apps using local notifications.

ANOTHER issue popped up to challenge Apple's software engineers when users on Twitter and Reddit posted about their iPhones crashing on December 2. Given the iOS 11.2 Beta had already demonstrated it wasn't impacted by the December 2 bug, Apple apparently took the decision to pull the trigger on its release earlier than we were expecting. The latter allows users to send and receive payments using the iMessage app. The hallmark feature for United States users is Apple Pay for iMessage, but that service reportedly won't go live until at least Monday.

The new update also brings faster charging capabilities through compatible Qi-based wireless charging accessories on the new iPhones including iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone X.

The new iOS 11.2 update is there for the eligible devices and the update is rolled out over-the-air in the settings app. But iOS 11.2 is considered the second major update for iOS 11, after iOS 11.1 was released on October 31st. If you are affected by the bug, you would have to follow certain steps if you want a seamless iOS 11.2 download.

iOS 11 is by far the most advanced iOS update released by the giant Apple.
