PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds Will Run at 30FPS on All Xbox One Consoles

According to an interview with Games TM, speaking to Mr PlayerUnknown himself Brendan Greene, PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds is aiming to hit a locked 60 FPS on Xbox One systems.

"Sure, from a server point of view we have to be, but that's what our goal here is". It might seem unfair to Xbox One owners that they only get to play at 30fps and Xbox One X owners even get a competitive edge with the higher frame rate, given the game is fast paced and every microsecond makes a difference.

You can check out the latest trailer down below for PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds which will be heading to Xbox One Game Preview on 12th December.

Woods opens with 69 at Hero World Challenge
He opened with a birdie on the first hole after knocking a wedge to 4 feet, then added two more birdies in the next three holes. Justin Thomas, Charley Hoffman and Francesco Molinari shot identical scores to be tied alongside Woods.

One is being made by Lightspeed and Quantum Studios, and will be a more or less straight port of the PC game, while Timi's version places a focus on naval combat, which is certainly new territory for the battle royale smash hit.

However, Greene noted that the developer Bluehole is enhancing the game before launch, so that it can reach 60 FPS on both the standard Xbox One and the Xbox One X. Yes, it is important, but it's not as important for us as it is a twitch shooter. Microsoft is promoting the game as a "console launch exclusive" for Xbox.

Talking through the official PlayerUnknown's BattleGrounds Twitter account, he states that PUBG will actually run at 30fps across all Xbox platforms. Maybe a better option would have been to let players decide for themselves, i.e. have a tickbox that enables you to be matched with players using an Xbox One X console? Which is why its been in Steam Early Access for so long. They don't exist yet, you know our terrain artist he's like "4K textures?" Share your opinion with us in the comment section below.
