Manafort's wife and daughter also agreed to secure his bail package.

"The Defendant will execute an agreement to forfeit four (4) separate real properties if there is a bail violation with a total estimated net value (i.e., fair market value less encumbrances) of approximately $11.65 million", Manafort lawyers Kevin Downing and Thomas Zehnle wrote. Special Counsel Robert Mueller agreed to the bail terms, which need the approval of U.S. District Judge Amy Berman Jackson, according to a filing by Manafort's lawyers. The properties will be seized should Manafort violate the terms of his release.

In the proposal, Manafort agreed he will not travel overseas and that his wife, Kathleen, will turn over her passports, as he has already done.

He could travel among Florida, New York and Virginia, where he has homes, and Washington D.C., where he must make court appearances, Bloomberg reports. Heretofore, Manafort has only been allowed to leave his Virginia home to appear in court, confer with counsel, attend religious services, or obtain medical care.

Manafort's lawyers said the agreement would "permit Mr. Manafort to conduct his business and mount his defense of this case". He turned over his three US passports to prosecutors after his arrest.

While the searches for Princess Leia are far-less than her Star Wars counterpart, Rey, eBay UK says there are 800 searches for the character per hour.

The properties are worth $11.65 million, according to the documents. A footnote in the filing says Manafort has three passports with different numbers and has "submitted ten United States Passport applications on ten different occasions" over the past decade.

Jackson had said she was inclined to release both defendants from home arrest but preferred keeping them under electronic Global Positioning System tracking, saying at one point, "I think if they leave and don't come back, we need to know where they went".

Mueller's prosecutorial team previously asked that Manafort's bail be set at $10 million to ensure that he would show for trial, which is set to take place sometime next year.
