Kevin Spacey investigated by Scotland Yard over second sexual assault allegation

"On Friday, 17 November, a further allegation was made about the same man" suspected in the 2008 case, the Yard said in a statement Wednesday.

This is the second Spacey allegation being investigated by Scotland Yard.

The American actor is facing numerous claims of sexual assault and harassment, as part of a broader scandal in Hollywood sparked by allegations against mogul Harvey Weinstein. It's unclear, however, if the latest allegation is connected to the theater's internal investigation.

The new investigation centers on an alleged incident, or possibly incidents, in Lambeth dating back to 2005.

"Officers from the child abuse and sexual offenses command are investigating", Metropolitan Police confirmed to The Guardian.

Trump pardons Thanksgiving turkeys Drumstick and Wishbone
Trump's first turkey pardon marks the 70th year the National Turkey Federation has presented the President with a Turkey. But I guess the Thanksgiving tradition did offer some light in what seems to be a very dark end to the year.

Now, officials are looking into an incident that allegedly took place in 2005 in the same neighborhood - this time, at The Old Vic theater, where Spacey served as artistic director from 2004 to 2015.

Alleged victim, Daniel Beal said that Spacey showed him his penis in public when he was 19, before giving him his £5,000 watch to buy his silence. In its statement last week, the theater said it had received no complaints of inappropriate behavior during his actual tenure.

Star Trek: Discovery actor Anthony Rapp was the first to come forward with allegations against Spacey, saying the older actor tried to "seduce" him when he was 14.

In the past few weeks Spacey has been fired from the Netflix TV series "House of Cards", was dropped by his talent agency and publicist and is being cut out of Ridley Scott's finished film "All the Money in the World".
