Vladimir Putin holds talks with Syrian president Bashar Assad in Sochi

Gen. Mohammad Bagheri came ahead of Wednesday's trilateral summit on Syria with the participation of Turkey's Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Russia's Vladimir Putin and Iranian President Hassan Rouhani.

Russian President Vladimir Putin plans to speak with his USA counterpart, Donald Trump, after meeting Syria's leader yesterday in Sochi, the Kremlin said.

"Syria is striving in the fight against terrorist (s). the Syrian people are going through very hard trials and are gradually approaching the final, unavoidable rout of terrorists", Putin said according to Russian news agency Sputnik. The fourth round of those talks in May produced a memorandum of understanding on de-escalation zones in Syria, sharply reducing fighting in the country.

The White House says President Donald Trump has spoken on the phone with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

But on the other hand, there are clubs like "Phoenix" or "San Antonio", which only once in the "regular" played overtime. Bookmaker offices, as a rule, estimate the probability of a draw with coefficients from 10.00 to 15.00.

Mr Assad has only ventured outside his war-ravaged nation twice since the conflict began - both times to Russian Federation.

The Kremlin said Putin briefed Trump in the phone call about his talks with Assad and plans for a political settlement in Syria.

The first was in October 2015, shortly before Russian Federation launched its military campaign in Syria to shore up Assad's forces.

Anti-government protests broke out in Syria in 2011, and the government's brutal response sparked a civil war that has wracked swathes of the country. A political settlement in Syria should be based on principles to be worked out during an all-inclusive "internal negotiating process in Syria", the Kremlin added. "Many areas in Syria have been liberated from terrorist (s), and civilians who were forced to leave those areas have been able to return", Assad said according to state media.
