The ready-to-eat chicken and turkey salads were made between November 4 - 15.

Green Cuisine, the California company that makes the salads, is recalling about 36,854 pounds of the chicken and turkey salad products, the USDA announced Saturday.

The products have the establishment number "P-40299" inside the USDA mark of inspection.

Researchers even considered other factors such as smoking and body weight to make sure the results were as accurate as possible. The team behind the Swedish study also observed a link between hunting breed ownership and heart health, which was unexpected.

The recalled white meat chicken and curried white chicken deli salads were sold in Arizona, California, Colorado, Nevada, Utah, Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma, or Texas.

The press release states that consumer complaints led to the discovery of the issue, but no injuries have been reported.

Trader Joe's said products with other "inspected" codes are not affected because they were prepared at different sites.

The chain apologized and urged customers to discard the products or return them for a refund.
