Manchester United are weighing up the possibility of launching a January bid for Chelsea defender David Luiz, according to reports.

Conte and Luiz had a high-profile bust up before the global break that saw the Brazilian axed from the matchday squad entirely for their Premier League clash with Manchester United.

It is reported that Conte has sanctioned the transfer of Luiz away from Stamford Bridge after the former PSG star questioned his methods following a 3-0 loss away at Roma in the Champions League.
