LAPD Opens Investigation Into Terry Crews' Report of Sexual Assault

Terry Crews is one of the many celebrities speaking out against the culture of sexual harassment that has proliferated in Hollywood.

On Oct. 10, the Brooklyn Nine-Nine star - and WME client - tweeted that a "high-level Hollywood executive" groped his "privates" at a party a year ago. "My wife saw everything n we looked at him like he was insane".

Crews first revealed his allegation on Twitter last month, saying he was inspired to share his story after a number of women came forward with accusations of sexual misconduct perpetrated by Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein. "He just grinned like a jerk". "He said that he considered "[kicking] his ass right then" but had concerns about how the situation would play out in the media. Crews has now changed his mind.

Crews told our photog he plans to file a civil lawsuit as well as pursue criminal charges.

Debuts For Abraham, Loftus-Cheek and Pickford
Asked after the England match if a lack of games at Chelsea has held him back, Loftus-Cheek replied: "Yeah, definitely. If we had won then it would have been better but the other games come thick and fast.

"People have to be held accountable", said Crews to a TMZ photographer.

Several outlets, including NBC News and local station CBS 3, have since named Adam Venit, a talent agent with Williams Morris Endeavor (WME), as the alleged groper, citing law enforcement sources.

Crews tweeted that he talked to everyone he knew about the incident, and the exec even called him the day after to apologize, but "never really explained why he did what he did". Attempts to reach Venit for comment were not immediately successful.
