Star Wars: Battlefront II's First DLC Detailed, Involves The Last Jedi

Star Wars Battlefront 2 is not even entirely out yet, and EA has already announced its first story expansion DLC that's set to arrive very soon.

December 13 is where the real fun begins.

Single-player can only be enjoyed to a certain point, however, the title's multiplayer modes are fully available. On December 13th, the game will add two new heroes: Everyone's favorite former stormtrooper-turned-Resistance fighter Finn and his former chromed badass commander, Captain Phasma. Whichever side - light or dark - wins the most challenges that week will receive a special crate with "high-power upgrades" for either Finn or Captain Phasma. Remember, every post-launch hero, map, ship, and weapon will be free for everyone who owns the game, so you and your friends can continue playing Star Wars together.

The Star Wars actor went on to talk about a mind-blowing twist where Luke would get an evil clone from his severed hand.

There's also a new planetary map, featuring Crait from The Last Jedi movie.

Soon, There Will Be A Harry Potter Version Of Pokemon Go
Niantic Labs are now taking things a step further and are building a new AR title called Harry Potter: Wizards Unite . A "Harry Potter" game is in production for smartphones, made by the same people who created Pokémon Go .

Unfortunately, EA Access is only available on Xbox One and PC, so this option isn't now available to those on PS4. The first DLC for Battlefront 2 will be centered around the upcoming film Star Wars Episode 8: The Last Jedi that releases next month on December 15th. These characters can be purchased with in-game Credits. Poe Dameron's T-70 X-wing is also upgraded with a new ability inspired by Star Wars: The Last Jedi.

Throughout December, faction choices will continue to matter, and players will be able to see each faction's progress reflected in-game.

Johnson, after all, seemed to be the most logical choice having just finished work on the next chapter in the saga, "Star Wars: The Last Jedi".

Throughout the rest of December, players can take part in new weekly challenges and and playlists.

Disney chairman-CEO Bob Iger announced the "Star Wars" news during the company's quarterly earnings call.
