Moira: Everything we know about the new Overwatch hero

Moira: Everything we know about the new Overwatch hero

The other big Overwatch announcement to come out of Blizzcon was a unique new map: Blizzard World, coming early next year. Armed with a range of powerful biotic abilities, Moira has long and short range options at her disposal, her Biotic Orbs able to offer hands-off damage and healing from longer distances.

Moira is Overwatch's 26th playable character. She's essentially Mercy's dark counterpart - she's a healer, but she's got an edgier look, and is a former member of the shadowy Blackwatch division.

Biotic Grasp: Using her left hand, Moira expends biotic energy to heal allies in front of her.

At BlizzCon, it was also announced that Moira is a two-star difficulty hero, making her notably more challenging to play than the current support fan favorite Mercy.

Kevin Spacey Seeking Treatment Following Allegations
A day after his apology, Netflix announced that the next season of 'House of Cards , ' starring Spacey , would be its last. Hit TV drama " This Is Us " has removed a reference to Spacey from one of its episodes following the allegations.

Reinhardt, otherwise known as the best tank, also received his own animated short. This makes it the fifth new character that has been put in Overwatch, alongside Sombra, Anna, Orisa, and Doomfist.

Revealed in all her glory at Blizzcon 2017, you can find footage of Moira's backstory and a selection of her ominous powers in action below.

Coalescence- Moira channels a long-range beam that both heals allies and bypasses barriers to damage her enemies.

In addition to a new hero, Overwatch will also be receiving a new map featuring a theme park based on different Blizzard properties. Blizzard World will be a hybrid map, meaning that the first part of the map will be capture point, and after the first point has been captured, will evolve into a payload map.
