Israel Air Force jets reportedly fired on an ammunition warehouse in Syria

According to a breaking news report on Lebanese news stations, Israeli warplanes have attacked a site in Syria near the city of Homs.

Less than a week before that, the Israeli Air Force announced that it had carried out a strike on an SA-5 battery some 50 kilometers east of Damascus which fired a missile towards Israeli fighter jets on a reconnaissance flight over neighboring Lebanon.

The Britain-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, which monitors the conflict, says loud explosions were heard south of Homs, from the location of a Syrian or a Hezbollah military base that is believed to manufacture rockets.

Syria is demanding that the United Nations formally condemn the attack and take action to prevent Israel from carrying out similar airstrikes in the future.

Marvel's New Warriors Won't Air on Freeform After All
Whether or not Marvel wants to hold off New Warriors , which was set to debut in 2018, for a whole year is another question. After it was ordered to series Freeform , Marvel's New Mutants-a half-hour scripted comedy-is looking for a new home.

Stressing that any "Israeli" military action against Lebanon would not be successful, Aoun made clear that "no one can rely on anyone [else] to defend his country". He also said that an anti-aircraft missile was sacked by Syrian forces.

In Jerusalem, Israel's Foreign Ministry declined to comment. In response to the Israeli aggression, the Syrian air defense launched from the 72nd Brigade three surface-to-air missiles against the Zionist planes without reaching their objectives, the report said.

Tel Aviv and Damascus that have been in the state of war since the establishment of the State of Israel in 1948, have repeatedly exchanged tit-for-tat attacks.
