The OnePlus 5T will have a headphone jack

"Are the best wireless headphones comparable to the best of the wired?" But OnePlus is claiming that removing the headphone jack is a violation of one the company's "core beliefs" at a time when the entire industry is racing to remove them.

The OnePlus 5T has been advertised as launching this month.

"Nearly 80 per cent of our users use in-jack headphones".

Obviously, all of this means when the OnePlus 5T does debut (which is coming up soon from the looks of it), it's going to have the headphone jack that is disappearing from competitor's devices left and right.

Wireless earbuds are simply not good enough, at least not at decent prices, and then there's the convenience factor. It didn't see much benefit from asking people to plug in to the USB-C port, so why remove it?

If the leaked information is accurate, it's possible the OnePlus 5T will be available to buy at end of November or early December.

USA preterm births rise for second year in a row
More than 380,000 babies are born prematurely each year, putting them at greater risk of death before their first birthday. The number of premature births is increasing in the Carolinas, according to results from a study by the March of Dimes.

The company has been building the hype around the arrival of OnePlus 5T through social media. "The advantage to USB-C is that it would have let us further slim down our flagships".

The standout feature of the OnePlus 5T is widely-tipped to be an all-new edge-to-edge display.

Since Apple and Google have ditched the headphone jack from their flagship smartphones, the same was expected from the OnePlus 5T.

Previous rumors have suggested the OnePlus 5T will come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, a 6-inch 18:9 ratio QHD display and a dual rear 16MP camera. But it seems, the China-based giant is still not ready to give up on the traditional 3.5mm headphone jack. In each of the images, the round headphone jack port is clearly visble. It stated today, "This is one of those times when we respectfully disagree on what it means to be courageous".

According to the latest leaks, OnePlus will shave the bezels around the display to compete with the likes of the LG V30, Galaxy S8, Pixel 2 XL and iPhone X. It will likely have 6GB RAM and 8GB RAM options, though OnePlus could surprise on the storage front. Over a year later, OnePlus says it makes more sense to put its priorities toward its customers, and to make the technology in its phone more accessible.
