We Are Not Lucky - Antonio Conte Bemoans Chelsea's Injury Woes

Antonio Conte has hinted that Ethan Ampadu could be called upon in the coming weeks following the injury to N'Golo Kante. We don't have another player with the same characteristics.

They face second-placed Manchester United on November 5, and with Tiemoue Bakayoko and Cesc Fabregas the only specialist central midfielders available, Conte might have to turn to his defenders or younger players to step in for Kante. But for sure it's a hamstring problem and this is a big loss for us.

"In Kante's situation you have to have another scan to understand the situation very well", Conte said. "From the previous scan, maybe he will be out for around 20 or 21 days", Conte told reporters on Friday.

"I hope to have Morata back against Roma", Conte said at a press conference.

However, according to The Telegraph, Kante could miss Chelsea's next six fixtures, which includes their double-header with Roma in the Champions League.

"With Kante we are going to do a scan next week to check his situation and if it is improving".

A similar letter was sent to seven municipalities, including Chicago, New York and New Orleans. Kenney has been an ardent supporter of Philadelphia's " sanctuary city " policies.

"We are not lucky in this period". In midfield we now have only Bakayoko and Fabregas available and we have to approach seven games in one month.

New signing Danny Drinkwater, who is yet to play for the club, is still out with a calf problem and Conte will be patient with the former Leicester City midfielder.

Kyle Scott could also be called upon.

"David is one of the best central defenders". When I chose to utilise him in midfield against Tottenham, could be an option if I decide to play three midfielders.

"For this reason I think in this period we have to find different solutions, to adapt some defenders in midfield or to give opportunities to some young players like Scott and Ampadu to play from the start".

David Luiz could be also an alternative midfield option having already been deployed in the position against Tottenham earlier in the season.
