Giants Suspend Rodgers-Cromartie After He Walks Out Of Practice Facility

The New York Giants suspended former Lakewood Ranch High standout Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie on Wednesday.

Giants coach Ben McAdoo is scheduled to speak to reporters after practice.

Giants safety Landon Collins said he believed the issue occurred from what he called an "altercation" between McAdoo and Rodgers-Cromartie on Sunday, according to ESPN. Collins says that Rodgers-Cromartie didn't leave the team but was suspended after he had a disagreement with McAdoo, according to Leonard. He added that he left because what McAdoo said "was BS". "We will suspend him".

Shepard is expected to miss Sunday's game against the Broncos and, although the Giants are listing him as day-to-day, he's likely to also be unavailable for when they return home for the October 22 game against Seattle at MetLife Stadium.

New Breast Cancer Testing To Reduce Mastectomies
Mammography is a specific medical imaging, it uses a low-dose x-ray system to see inside the breasts. Since our program began, we have helped numerous women get screened for cancer in this region.

The Giants, who were considered Super Bowl contenders entering the season, are off to an 0-5 start and have been hit by a rash of injuries. So he left and now the Giants are suspending him.

Collins, an All-Pro last season, was hobbled throughout the Giants' game against the Chargers.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported the suspension stemmed from a "heated" argument between Rodgers-Cromartie and McAdoo that began when the cornerback was pulled from Sunday's 27-22 loss against the Los Angeles Chargers. As Jenkins and Apple established themselves as the top two corners, Rodgers-Cromartie was relegated to a slot role in sub packages.
