Miley Cyrus and Jimmy Fallon Hilariously Recreate 'Islands in the Stream'

The former Secretary of State told Jimmy Fallon she was "devastated" on election night, "not just because I thought I was going to win and I wanted to be president, and I wanted to do the work of being president, but because I was so anxious about what it meant to have my opponent win", she said.

"I get that little butterfly in my stomach", she said.

Then Miley Cyrus took the chair and hailed Hillary as a "voice of reason in uncertain times".

"Thank You, Hillary for being a constant beacon of strength, hope and determination for me and millions of other young women", she said, choking back tears. "Can I give you a hug?"

During the second night of her week-long visit to The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon, Miley Cyrus performed "Week Without You" from her new album Younger Now.

Cyrus and the writers spoke aloud their thank-you notes to Clinton for achievements besides becoming president, such as "transcending first ladyhood" and "all the work you've done for public health care".

Elsewhere on The Tonight Show, Cyrus kicked out a raucous cover of Nancy Sinatra's 1966 hit, "These Boots Are Made for Walkin.'" Dedicating her performance to the night's main guest, Hillary Clinton, Cyrus and her backing band turned Sinatra's simmering kiss off into a rollicking rocker with classic country flourishes and arena rock momentum. One by one, they took to Fallon's desk to share their heartfelt - and amusing - messages. You are smart, strong, and deserving of every opportunity. "And we won't stop'".

Although Cyrus didn't say how Hemsworth ended up feeling about the songs after all, we can only imagine he's happy there in Malibu with her too.

"In honor of the lives lost, injured and affected by the tragic shooting in Vegas, @fallontonight & I dedicated this show to not only mourning this horrific event but using this platform to encourage unity, peace & hopefulness!"
