Las Vegas Shooting: Gunman's Girlfriend Says She Knew Nothing of Plans

Paddock had four video cameras at his hotel room, Lombardo said.

She returned late on Tuesday from a family visit to the Philippines.

The local authorities in Las Vegas have said that the mass shooting of around 600 people, which killed 59, was premeditated and pre-planned.

The other sister said Danley, who arrived back in the USA from the Philippines on Tuesday, "didn't even know that she was going to the Philippines, until Steve said, 'Marilou, I found you a cheap ticket to the Philippines'". Local and federal law enforcement officials spent hours interviewing Danley, who insisted Wednesday through her attorney that she had no prior knowledge of the impending attacks. Social media and other reports say she is a mother and a grandmother who divorced from her previous husband in 2015.

Agents are also expected to ask Ms Danley about the large quantity of weapons - 33 the past year - Paddock purchased and explosives and thousands of rounds of ammunition found at their Nevada homes. "I know that she don't know anything as well, like us", one sister said through tears.

The Philippines' National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) said the FBI, its United States counterpart, had sought help in finding Danley.

Putin also said both the USA and Russian Federation should not meddle in each other's "domestic affairs". The Senate last week approved Huntsman's nomination by voice vote.

Authorities said they are investigating the arsenal Stephen Paddock had in his 32nd-floor Mandalay Bay hotel room where he opened fired Sunday night on unsuspecting concertgoers below. "She didn't even know that she was going to the Philippines until Steve said 'Marilou I found you a cheap ticket to the Philippines'".

The shooting also sparked debate over USA gun laws, but President Donald Trump said the discussion over what, if anything, needs to be done was "not for now". "She was sent that she will not be there to interfere with what he's planning", they said.

She added that "it never occurred to me in any way whatsoever that he was planning violence against anyone". "She is now a person of interest".

Eric Paddock, Stephen's brother, said the couple met while Danley was a hostess at the Atlantis Casino in Reno.

But he said Paddock's motivations and whether there were any possible accomplices remained a mystery.

Comments by Denley herself have yet to be made public, and information about the $100,000 wired to the Philippines by Paddock also is, thus far, without explanation.
