Jae Crowder: Cavs Already Practicing to Face Warriors

Now, the Cavs can add shooting guard Iman Shumpert to the list of banged up players this preseason.

When fully healed, Cleveland will boast perhaps the deepest roster in the National Basketball Association, with the likes of Derrick Rose, Tristan Thompson, J.R. Smith, Iman Shumpert and Kyle Korver coming off the pine.

Cavs coach Tyronn Lue was optimistic about Shumpert's injury, which happened when he came down from a missed dunk attempt and landed awkwardly on his foot. He limped back to the locker room after a timeout and did not return to the game.

The Cavs acquired former stars in the form of Dwyane Wade and Derrick Rose, as well as current stars, such as Isaiah Thomas and Jae Crowder.

WWE Hell in a Cell 2017 Preview & Predictions
Natalya made Charlotte Flair, the woman trying to take her Women's Championship this weekend, tap out during a tag match. This time they compete inside of the Cell and if The Usos win, The New Day will not be able to use their rematch clause.

The next preseason game for the Cleveland Cavaliers comes on Friday night against the Indiana Pacers.

Shumpert has racked up quite an injury history since he entered the league in 2011, but he appeared in a career-high 76 games during the 2016-17 season. While the Eastern Conference franchise has strung together quite the deep roster ahead of the 2017-18 regular season, the Cavaliers are already dealing with a bit of injury trouble. The only player that the Cavs can't live without is LeBron James.

This move could help the Cavaliers compete with teams that have smaller lineups. Lue said the three-time champion will not play in tonight's exhibition opener against Atlanta.
