Girlfriend's sisters say shooter sent her overseas

"A little more than two weeks ago Stephen told me he found a cheap ticket for me to the Philippines and that he wanted me to take a trip home to visit my family", she said.

Law enforcement is hoping she sheds light on who Paddock was and why he did what he did.

Police have said Paddock could have used his Australian girlfriend's name and information when he checked in, The West Australian reported.

"He sent her away so that he can plan what he is planning without interruptions", the sister said. She said she had no idea he was planning a massacre on the Las Vegas Strip on Sunday that left 58 people dead and almost 500 injured.

"I was grateful, but anxious", Danley said, adding that she thought the flight to the Philippines and the money was his way of breaking up with her.

Investigators are still piecing together the motives for the shooting that killed at least 58 people and are now focused on one thing: what do we know about Marilou Danley? The 62-year-old Filipino-born woman landed at Los Angeles International Airport at 7:17 p.m. PT on Philippine Air Flight 102.

Danley was named a person of interest in the early aftermath of the shooting, but officers with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department soon said they had spoken to her and she was cleared.

Lombard delivered it after Danley, described as a "person of interest", was interviewed by Federal Bureau of Investigation agents at their Los Angeles headquarters on Wednesday.

One sister tearfully said: 'I know that she don't know anything'. He took his own life before authorities found 23 weapons in his hotel room and another 19 at his home in Mesquite, Nevada. Or that he wanted her away at the time. She hadn't been to the Philippines since 2014, when she was going through marital problems with her former husband, her brother, Reynaldo Bustos, told ABC News Wednesday from the Philippines.

Danley's sisters insist that she knew nothing about Paddock's intentions. "Marilou Danley is my sister". She flew from Manila to Hong Kong on September 22 and then returned to Manila three days later on September 25.

The official also said Tuesday that Paddock had transferred $100,000 to the Philippines in the days before the attack that killed 59 people at a country music concert.
