Hospital In Lockdown After Reported Shooting

Lebanon police said Tuesday that they are investigating reports of an active shooter at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center. It is not clear if the lockdown has been lifted.

The hospital said in a statement the building is now on lockdown "following reports of an active shooter in the hospital".

Multiple New Hampshire State Police cruisers rushed to the area, where they were assisting with response and investigation, NBC5 reported. There is no confirmation that shots have been fired, though employees have been told to either evacuate or shelter in place. Tweets began filtering in at around 1:45 p.m. on September 12 that there had been gunfire in the hospital's ICU.

Google appeals against huge European Union anti-trust fine
Google has previously said it disagreed with the European Union decision and had indicated it would file an appeal. Google confirmed the appeal to Business Insider but declined to comment further or give any detail.

Police say they are investigating reports of an active shooter at New Hampshire's largest hospital, which is under lockdown. A code silver is a active shooter.

The Federal Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms and Vermont state police assisted New Hampshire and local police.

The NH Attorney General's office confirmed the incident was under control, and said more information will be released as soon as it's available.
