What time is Kevin Anderson's US Open final against Rafa Nadal?

In a wide-open contest, Anderson remained cautious of Busta, the No 12 seed, who progressed beyond the third round of a Grand Slam for only the second time in his career.

He is the first South African in over 50-years to make it to the final of the US Open.

Kevin Anderson's second round match featured Latvia's Ernests Gulbis, where the South African dominated the first set and carried his momentum to win the match easily in three sets 6-3, 7-5, 6-4. They took advantage of all of the injury absences of top players, most notably major title owners Novak Djokovic, Stan Wawrinka and Andy Murray, but also Grand Slam runners-up Milos Raonic and Kei Nishikori.

With a world ranking of 32, he is the lowest-ranked men's singles finalist at the US Open since the rankings began in 1973.

Anderson will try to win his first major title against the victor of No. 1 Rafael Nadal and No. 24 seed Juan Martin del Potro, two former US Open winners. The South African who played college tennis for IL, broke serve in the fourth game to lead 3-1, but the lead was short-lived when Carreno Busta broke back. Anderson made the most of his opportunity, nailing a backhand victor to take the set 7-5 and level the match. Carreno Busta double faulted to give him the set. Against veteran Paolo Lorenzi, he dropped a set in the tie-break before recovering to win 6-4 in the fourth set. Instead, the South African hung tough and emerged a 7-6 6-7 6-3 7-6 victor to make his maiden Slam semifinal. I think our emotions were the same as Kevin's. It was an unbelievably tough match for me. I feel like it's been working well for me, so I'm not going to do anything much different.

'I really don't know what to say right now, ' admitted Anderson in his on-court interview.

Oklahoma Face Difficult Road Test Against Ohio State
Defensive end Tyquan Lewis made two of the sacks last week and is poised for a monster season after making eight sacks past year . While Lagow is a talented pocket passer, IN chose to use quicker passes to help negate Ohio State's pass rush.

Carreno Busta has already become the first man to make the quarter-finals by facing four qualifiers in succession. That said, fatigue could be a factor for Anderson after his last match against Querrey.

However, he had several troubles trying to consolidate the break as he failed to find his first serves when it mattered, coupled with the fact that Carreno Busta was playing some wonderful tennis after he came up with two impressive passing winners during that game itself, including one on break point which allowed him to break straight back.

"It will be an interesting match, and I'm very excited to go out there and compete in the semifinals".

'If he's in the final, he can beat everyone. Nadal has improved his play with each match this tournament and his serve has been the most impressive.

Kevin Anderson faces an uphill battle against world No. 1 Rafael Nadal at Flushing Meadows, New York, on Sunday.

Starting the fourth set serving, it was a bright start for Carreno Busta as he looked to have regained his composure and found the momentum.
