Android One returns as Google partners Xiaomi for Mi A1

Android One returns as Google partners Xiaomi for Mi A1

And I have to say, Xiaomi pulled all the stops there.

Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi has teamed up with Google and announced a "designed by Xiaomi" and "powered by Google" smartphones in a first global launch for Xiaomi held in India.

Xiaomi Mi A1 comes with a metal build that looks good. They've literally dug the Android One program from the grave and brought out the Mi A1 smartphone at just Rs 14,999.

What do you guys think about Xiaomi Mi A1?

Google should most probably take inspiration from Reliance Jio, which catapulted to the top of the mobile phone and telecom industry with its correct understanding of what "billions" actually want. The Indian climate is harsh for phones. SO, you can also use this phone as remote control. "Under initial tie-ups, phones were made by Indian companies like Micromax, Spice and Karbonn and were priced below Rs 6,500". Comment in the section below and stay tuned to PhoneRadar for more updates. As per the report, Google revealed that Android One now stands for Simple (for an uncluttered, non-bloatware interface), Smart (optimised for Google Assistant and other Google services), Secure (protected by Google Play Protect), and Fresh (promised updates).

"There are some similarities between the two, but they are really two different phones". Xiaomi is promising high-quality of pictures with this setup and like other dual-rear cameras it does rely on the software to create that "bokeh" effect, where the background is blurred to keep the object in sharp focus. The hardware alone doesn't assure good experience.

What makes the Xiaomi Mi A1 special is the fact that it comes with Android One, or simply, stock Android 7.1.2 Nougat OS. The biggest difference between Android One in 2014 and Android One in 2017 is that the smartphone, hardware platform, possess a better set of specifications than the predecessors and is on par with the competition.

Upon being asked what an Android One device signifies, Gold said, "the device will have a standardised UI called the Google launcher. Moreover, premium Android One will directly confront the Google Pixel strategy", Parv added. Even entry-level smartphone such as Redmi 4A had a satisfactory camera but the Xiaomi Mi A1's camera is a bit of a letdown. Android One smartphones will receive software updates directly from Google. The extra apps eat up the limited storage and the extra animations take up more power. Xiaomi is also promising 2X optical zoom on this smartphone, which is something you won't find on most budget phones with dual-rear cameras. Xiaomi is releasing the Mi A1 in a total of 13 markets in Asia, ten in the Middle East and Africa, ten in Europe and four in Central and South America, much more than has been seen for previous smartphones. It has a similar design as we found in OnePlus 5 and iPhone 7 Plus. Even the way Google sells the Mi A1 - "Android at its best" and "purest form of Android" - seems a throwback to the Nexus era. The devices will now target the midtier, rather than the lower-end, segment.

South Korea will deploy four additional missile defense system
But Russia and China are opposed to the show of strength by the United States and South Korea. Beijing opposed the us missile defense system in South Korea and called it a "stab wound".
