Blunt boards Air Force One with President Trump

Trump's daughter wants tax code reform to help make it easier for working mothers to pay for childcare. "And if she doesn't do this for you, you have to vote her out of office".

Trump also took a few stabs at the hard argument that cutting corporate rates would lead to job creation and benefits for people other than just the very rich. "Over the past 30 years, the average business tax rate among developed nations fell from 45 percent to less than 24 percent in some countries have an unbelievably low tax, including, by the way, China, and some others that are highly competitive and really doing very well against us".

"The president wants to take this conversation directly to the American people", the official said. He is not expected to give a detailed speech on specifics, but rather rally momentum for a post Labor Day tax reform effort focused on simplifying the tax code and lowering rates.

"Right now, our tax code is burdensome, incomprehensible and puts American businesses at a severe disadvantage on the world stage", said Speaker Paul RyanPaul RyanDebt-ceiling deadline looming, but don't panic yet Lawmakers vow Harvey aid package, but there's no plan yet Ten notable departures from Team Trump MORE (R-Wis.).

While the President has been clear about tax cuts that benefit high-income households and large corporations, he's revealed far less about how his plan would affect middle-income Americans.

Trump will argue that the United States tax code is simply broken and in fact six times longer than it was in 1955, the official said.

At least eight people, including Perez, have been confirmed dead as a result of the storm, officials said. The Houston Chronicle first reported Perez's death, but officials would not immediately confirm it.

Capitol Hill Republicans have struggled to craft the tax reform legislation that accomplishes the goals they share with the president, including cutting taxes while not increasing deficits and debt.

"We must, we have no choice, we must lower our taxes".

The White House says the president is arriving Wednesday afternoon in Springfield.

In terms of policy details, the speech will reportedly be light. "Republican will win S", Trump wrote.

The Trump plan doesn't include proposals to fully pay for the tax cuts by closing tax loopholes or scaling back tax breaks at the top; it would cost more than $3.5 trillion, even counting all the possible revenue-raising provisions that the Trump campaign and Administration have mentioned.

Republicans control both chambers of Congress, but there is hardly a consensus on tax reform and talks on the issue look set to be arduous.
