Lena Dunham praises Taylor Swift's 'fierce' court testimony

Taylor Swift took the witness stand yesterday in her lawsuit claiming a radio host groped her at a meet-and-greet in 2013.

Swift has testified that "it was a definite grab". She felt sick, she recalled what happened and said, "I was very upset ..."

Mueller sued Swift after her team told his bosses at a music station that he reached under her dress and touched her backside before a 2013 concert in Denver. He stayed on my bare a** cheek as I lurched away from him uncomfortably.

He painted Swift as a star who was devoted to her fans - perhaps too much so, according to Dent.

Lena Dunham is "proud" of Taylor Swift after the pop star took the stand to testify against the ex-DJ she claims groped her. "And it went behind her, and her hand, or arm, went behind my arm". "This was not something I had ever dealt with", she continued.

During her testimony, Taylor told the court that the alleged assault was "despicable and horrifying".

Two days after the concert, Mueller lost his $150,000-a-year job at KYGO, after Swift's radio liaison [radio representative] Frank Bell alerted the station to the alleged assault.

When asked why her skirt was not visibly rumpled or out of place in the photo, if Mueller did indeed have his hand on her bottom, Swift responded, "Because my a*s is located in the back of my body". Mueller sued Swift in 2015, claiming she'd falsely accused him of groping her and cost him his job. "I knew what happened, I heard it from her, I heard it from my daughter's mouth", she said, before pointing at Mueller in the courtroom and adding, "He sexually assaulted her, right there, that guy".

In the USA, women are expected to feel bad for men who hurt and disrespect them.

"I am not going to allow your client make me feel like it anyway it's my fault because it isn't. I did not want her to have to live through the endless memes and GIFs that tabloid media and Internet trolls would come up with", the singer's mother said on the stand.

Simbeck said after the event, when Swift was telling people that she had been fondled, the photographer went to the image of her with Mueller and his girlfriend and showed it to the singer. "I saw his hand under her skirt".

Asked if she sought out eyewitnesses to verify the account, the mother said she had no reason to doubt her daughter's word.

Twitter commentaries took note of her strong presence, as well as the text of her suit against David Mueller, where she hopes that it will set an example for women who might have second thoughts about revealing any past moment of humiliation when inquired of them. He grabbed my ass underneath my skirt. In a symbolic move, Swift countersued for sexual assault and is asking for a $1 settlement.

"It was a very shocking thing that has never happened to me before".

Testimony has resumed in a civil trial over whether Taylor Swift was groped by a former radio DJ.
