Overwatch Summer Games introduces new Lúcioball ranked mode and ridiculous beachwear skins

The Overwatch Summer Games event will also give you the option of buying the skins and cosmetics from last year's games at a reduced price.

Summer Games event brings only one emote this year, but it's very cool. Blizzard unveiled the new cosmetics on the Overwatch site alongside a new trailer.

Blizzard revealed the return of the Summer Games event to Overwatch on August 8 through a tweet, which came with a picture that also teases the return of Lucioball.

Once again, Blizzard is giving up victory poses with heroes holding gold medals. While the game mode is an old one, it comes with some interesting modifications wherein Lucio's ultimate ability is increased speed and reduction in the cool down time on his alternate ability. Players previously were not able to purchase the skins using in-game credits, but this will now be possible upon their return.

Having Jerry Rice wouldn't prevent Bills GM from signing Anquan Boldin
The 36-year-old also won a Super Bowl title with the Ravens in Super Bowl XLVII against the 49ers. You're talking about a (Walter Payton) Man of the Year and he's ninth all-time in receptions.

There's a number of new summer skins available including Mercy as the greek goddess Nike carrying a torch, Reaper as a BMX bandit, Widowmaker wearing a bikini in the beach, norkeling Sombra, cricket Junkrat and lifeguard McCree.

This year, we're celebrating the spirit of competition with a new Lúcioball arena, leaderboards, and competitive play. There are still several heroes who do not have summer games skin and unfortunately for everyone who has taken a liking to Doom Fist, he'll have to wait until next year.

It is also important to note that non-Lucioball sprays can be bought for 75 credits each. Then there is the Copa Lucioball - a competitive playlist with a placement and ranking.
