Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Specs Finally Revealed In Major Leak

As The Investor notes, Samsung's mobile division chief Koh Dong-Jin said at a media event last month that the Galaxy S8 had outsold the Galaxy S7 by 15% in the same three-month period after launch. Which device would outsell the other?

This Google trends graph (via BGR) comparing the traffic for keywords "iPhone 8" and "Galaxy Note 8" shows that consumer anticipation for Apple's flagship phone is much higher than the Note 8. Among the most cutting-edge features, the Note 8 will be a premium Galaxy smartphone, with the IP68 water and dust certification. Seeing that mass-production level options are coming soon, it's clear that Samsung has good reason to bring that technology to its fall release. In an earlier post, BGR reported that the Note 8 will have a boxier design with Infinity Display and a dual camera on the rear side with the fingerprint sensor. A promotional banner image of the Galaxy Note 8 has been leaked to reveal the design of the phone and its stylus. Rumours are rife that Samsung will not be on the receiving end of criticism when it launches the Galaxy Note 8 by placing the biometric sensor under the display.

That's everything known about the Galaxy Note 8 from Samsung as of today.

As far as the specifications of the LG V30 smartphone are concerned, the device is speculated to feature a 6-inch OLED display with minimal bezels, and be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 system-on-chip.

The HBO hackers stole 'thousands' of internal company documents
On July 29, the company alerted its more than 2,500 employees of hack and advised them not to open any suspicious emails. Sometimes when hackers steal data from companies, they seek a ransom in exchange for not publishing the data.

While the Note 8 looks very similar to the S8, however, the corners on this model appear to be more squared, as is the trend with Samsung's larger flagship.

The Galaxy Note 8 will be powered by Snapdragon 835 in the United States market and Exynos 8895 in global markets. Samsung will also switch from Synaptics to Egis at the time of the Note's release to supply the company with fingerprint sensors on the Galaxy Note 9.

Internally, the device will reportedly feature Qualcomm's Snapdragon 835 chipset for USA phones (which are usually the variant that Canada receives as well), and the company's own Exynos 8895 for global models, with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage expandable by MicroSD.
