Mueller requests White House documents on Flynn

Mueller requests White House documents on Flynn

"We've said before we're collaborating with the special counsel on an ongoing basis", he told the newspaper.

Investigators are examining the flow of money into and out of the Flynn Intel Group - a consulting firm Flynn founded after being forced out as the director of the Defense Intelligence Agency - according to several potential witnesses who have been interviewed by prosecutors and Federal Bureau of Investigation agents.

Flynn lasted only 24 days as national security adviser, but his legal troubles now lie at the center of a political storm that has engulfed the Trump administration. However, those familiar with the investigation should know this isn't the first grand jury his team has undertaken.

Meanwhile, the top Democrat on the House oversight committee asked a business partner of Flynn for documents detailing Flynn's foreign contacts and security clearance, according to a letter released Thursday. The newspaper said the document request was not a formal subpoena.

Iran's Supreme Leader Endorses Rouhani as President for Second Term
Religious, military, and political leaders attended the August 3 ceremony, which was broadcast on Iranian state television. In Iran's presidential election on May 19, Rouhani garnered 23,549,616 votes from a total of 41,220,131 ballots.

The Times reported that prosecutors have been investigating Flynn's business dealings with a Turkish-American businessman who worked with Flynn past year, and are trying to determine if the Turkish government was behind payments to Flynn.

Since Flynn's payment acceptance occurred during the 2016 presidential campaign, during which he advised Trump, both the grand jury and Mueller's probe are trying to discern whether or not it was illegal.

Investigators also asked about Flynn's paid speaking engagements at Russian companies for which he received more than $65,000 in 2015, as well as some of his consulting firm's clients that included the Japanese government.

Robert Kelner, the White House and Flynn's lawyer, did not immediately respond to requests for comment. In his interview with investigators, Kian said he had been friends with Flynn since 2008 and he was aware of Flynn's business travels and contacts.
