Doping: the president of the Russian athletics Federation apologizes

The International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) has reached a new, multi-year agreement with the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) and ESPN Media Distribution for the sale and distribution of a broad collection of media rights, including the next three IAAF World Championships and IAAF World Indoor Championships, and more than a dozen other competitions in the IAAF World Athletics Series.

A statement from the Athletics Federation of Nigeria, AFN, said the double medallists at the 14th edition of the championships in Moscow, Russia in 2013 arrived Tuesday to begin her final preparation four days before she takes to the track at the London stadium for the first round of the 100m event.

Referring to the IAAF's criteria for Russian reinstatement, Andersen said there were still six areas where Russia had to more to do, including an acknowledgement of guilt from the Ministry of Sport and National Olympic Committee, which is something the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) and International Paralympic Committee have also requested.

According to a new report from the Task Force, the global Council of the IAAF, has recommended Monday maintaining this suspension, a measure approved on Thursday by 166 votes to 21 at the Congress.

"It is fair to say that the path has not always been completely smooth", he told the Congress.

Russian athletes who have been cleared by the IAAF still may participate in worldwide competitions, although they must compete under a neutral flag. Dmitry has clearly understood the need to change this culture of doping that has existed in athletics Russian by the past.

Trump Proposed Firing US Army Commander In Afghanistan
In response, the defense secretary said the U.S. was losing because the war in Afghanistan it did not have the required strategy. News first reported Wednesday that Trump fumed during a meeting last month over the lack of progress.

"He understands the harm that culture has cost clean athletes everywhere as the apology he just extended to those cheated out of medals demonstrates".

The IAAF Congress voted earlier on Thursday to extend the suspension term of the All-Russia Athletics Federation (ARAF).

Andersen insisted that the timeline of a Russian return to global action in November was possible.

"Their fate is in their own hands", he told the Member Federations.

It has meant that Russian Federation missed last year's Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro and its 19 athletes competing at the IAAF World Championships, due to start in London tomorrow, will have to compete under a neutral banner.

"They could complete the steps without much further delay".
