Tom Wopat, 'Dukes of Hazzard' Luke, Arrested for Indecent Assault

The "Dukes of Hazzard" actor was picked up by police on indecent assault, battery and cocaine possession charges in MA on Wednesday (08.02.17) and it has now emerged the reported incident took place when the 65-year-old star was rehearsing his role in stage show "42nd Street".

Looks like Luke Duke is still stirring up trouble.

The alleged incident involved Wopat putting his hands down a woman's trousers, TMZ wrote.

Actor Tom Wopat stood during his arraignment today, in Waltham, Mass., on indecent assault and battery and drug possession charges.

"During a rehearsal the defendant allegedly walked behind a female cast member, grabbing her buttocks", they said in an emailed statement.

Wopat, 65, of NY, who is set to star in the play "42nd Street" in Waltham, was arrested at 10:53 p.m. and charged with indecent assault and battery on a person 14 years or older, according to the Waltham Police Department.

According to court documents, Wopat denied touching anyone. They found a small amount of cocaine on his person, leading police to book him on drug possession-a misdemeanor.

The unidentified woman reportedly works on the 42nd Street play he is starring in, and reported the incident to a production official, who confronted the actor.

The Tony nominee told police he liked to flirt with women but never did anything inappropriate. He has also appeared in several other television shows and movies, including Quentin Tarantino's "Django Unchained", and has released country music, Broadway and big band albums.
