Suge Knight indicted over 'death threat' to Straight outta Compton director

Former rap mogul Marion "Suge" Knight has reportedly been indicted for making death threats against Straight Outta Compton director F. Gary Gray, reports TMZ. He's set to be arraigned on Thursday (Aug. 3), which will make more than six months since the indictment was filed.

As previously reported, Suge and his team weren't at all pleased with his portrayal in the movie, which includes his relationship with one of N.W.A.'s iconic members, Dr. Dre.

The new tests, on both entry and exit, are said to take around two minutes per passenger. A4E managing director Thomas Reynaert said passengers had been left "devastated".

Editors at TMZ.com have obtained a copy of the indictment, dated 7 February (17) which reads,"On or about August 8, 2014, Suge.threatened to commit a crime which would result in death and great bodily injury to Felix Gary Gray". Knight has a long list of legal problems. Knight allegedly ran over a man named Terry Carter with his vehicle on the set of the film. He has pleaded not guilty to the charges. That same year he was arrested for armed robbery along with comedian Katt Williams. In 2014, a similar incident happened during Chris Brown's VMA party where he shot.

TMZ reports that court documents detail the criminal threats, which were aimed at director F. Gary Gray. The biographical film received a generally positive reception from critics and maintains a solid 87 percent on Rotten Tomatoes.
