'Wonder Woman 2' officially has a release date

The second installment in the Wonder Woman franchise is expected to be released on December 13th, 2019.

Gal Gadot is already contracted for the sequel, and talks with director Patty Jenkins are described as "ongoing" by The Hollywood Reporter. That success is more than any superhero film for the past 15 years, grossing $389 million at the domestic box office. The film followed the Amazonian princess as she leaves her home island with a stranded American pilot to fight in the war to end all wars while discovering her full powers and true destiny.

"#Wonder Woman 2" is officially on and has received a December 13, 2019, premiere as announced by Warner Brothers on Tuesday evening. There was also a mystery DC film teased, utterly untitled, which stated the release date of February 14, 2020.

We can all agree that Wonder Woman is the best movie of the year so far, right? Patty Jenkins is still in negotiations for the job.

James Bond to return in November, 2019
And Priyanka Chopra and Gillian Anderson were interested in playing Bond - "Jane Bond " if Hollywood considered a role reversal. He is one of the most popular choices, thanks to his work on the likes of Inception and the Dark Knight trilogy.

Rumours circulating suggest that the film could be set in the 1980s, but that's unconfirmed.

Her next appearance will be in the first instalment of the Justice League, DC's response to Marvel's The Avengers.

And if you think that waiting until 2019 is impossibly long time to see Diana Prince again, you can catch Wonder Woman in Justice League this November alongside Jason Momoa as Aquaman and Ben Affleck as Batman.

Everyone knew a "Wonder Woman" sequel was coming, but not during what's typically considered Oscars (and Star Wars) season.
