Square Enix has announced that the follow up to I Am Setsuna, Lost Sphear, will launch for Nintendo Switch, Playstation 4, and PC on January 23, 2018.

Players can pre-order the digital version of Lost Sphear at PlayStation Store and receive a "Memoirs of the Moon" dynamic theme instant reward and two music tracks on launch day: Market Town Marpennig and Town of Elgarthe. You can also pre-order the game now for the PS4 and PC, but not for the Nintendo Switch. If you pre-order from Steam, it will be more or less the same items, a wallpaper and the two tracks. A physical package is now available for pre-order exclusively from the Square Enix Online Store for the PS4 and Switch. The U.S. version of the Lost Sphear website also shared a January 23 release date, however, so the title could simultaneously debut in those regions. Like its predecessor, Lost Sphear is a turn-based RPG that harkens back to old-school Japanese games like Chrono Trigger and Final Fantasy IV. Taking inspiration from the golden era of JRPGs and their storytelling, innovation and depth - the first title from the studio, I AM SETSUNA was released in 2016. To combat the Lost, the power of Memory awakens within a young man named Kanata, giving hope to the people. It's then up to Kanata and his friends, Lumina, Locke, and Van to rebuild the world around them by converting thoughts into matter. That's where Tokyo RPG Factory came in.
