Cilic, 28, will play the victor of the second semifinal between the No. 3 seed Roger Federer and the 11th-seeded Tomas Berdych.

Cilic will face the victor of the match between seven-times champion Roger Federer and Czech Tomas Berdych in Sunday's final, and Querrey said the Croat would a handful for anyone.

Roger Federer maintained his bid for a record eighth Wimbledon title as he moved into the last four with a 6-4 6-2 7-6 (7-4) win against Milos Raonic.

Defending champion Andy Murray was dethroned by Sam Querrey as he experienced a huge blow by suffering an injury in the right hip as the score card reads 3-6, 6-4, 6-7 (4/7), 6-1, 6-1. Up one set and 2-0, the Serb retired with an elbow injury, but nobody should go to sleep on Berdych's chances.

The Scot won just nine points on serve in each of the fourth and fifth sets, with an average serve speed down at just 108mph, allowing Querrey to tee off on the return.

"You have to make sure your average is as high as possible every day and I think I'm doing a great job this week".

Exhausted or not, Djokovic should have his hands full with Tomas Berdych, the 11th seed, on Wednesday.

'From the first round I was playing really great tennis and today was a really hard-fought battle.

Cilic looks the most likely player left to trouble Federer, having taken the veteran to five sets and squandered two match points in their quarter-final here past year.

On the other hand, Cilic had to overcome a stern test against Nadal-slayer Gilles Muller in his quarter-final outing on Wednesday.

Federer is looking to reach an 11th Wimbledon final and win an eighth champion's trophy.

The third set was a much tougher challenge for Federer as Raonic found a second gear to cause the seven-time champion cause for concern on his serve.

It looks as if Roger Federer is like fine wine as he has been dominating the centre court and with aplomb.

First up on centre court will be Sam Querrey against Marin Cilic in a semi final not many people would of predicted. "But as I've said, it was only getting worse", Djokovic said. He's a lovely guy, I'm happy for him he's in his first Wimbledon final.
