Freeze cautious in addressing Nutt lawsuit

"I'm not at liberty to do that", Freeze said.

The suit filed in U.s. District Court in Oxford Nutt names the Ole Miss Athletic Foundation, the University of MS and the Board of Trustees of Higher Learning.

Nutt sees their efforts as an attempt to help the current staff save face and protect Freeze's reputation among Ole Miss fans and Alumni.

Freeze said after that a 2,755-word filibuster of an opening statement that became social media cannon fodder one day after former Ole Miss coach Houston Nutt filed a civil lawsuit against the University of MS and the Ole Miss Athletic Foundation on Wednesday (via Yahoo Sports' Pat Forde). Of course, the humor lies within the fact Houston D Nutt is suing Ole Miss because he can't get a coaching gig. "I won't be making any comments about the suit".

"Be accountable through adversity", Freeze said while discussing his team's motto this year while dealing with all of the off-the-field issues.

Microsoft Launches 'Seeing AI' Talking Camera App for the Blind
The app is now available in the US, Canada, India, Hong Kong, New Zealand and Singapore, but will be coming to more countries. For example, Microsoft brought its SQL Server database software to Linux, and it has ported Office apps to the iPad.

The suit claims the school, particularly coach Hugh Freeze and athletic director Ross Bjork made "off the record" comments that created a "false narrative" about Nutt in relation to the investigation. But you can't, we've got to be responsible for the areas in which we were deficient in, that we didn't, that we didn't either react or act properly, or whether it was staff or whether it was boosters.

An example given in the lawsuit was a Yahoo Sports report on October 2, 2014, which cited sources with knowledge of the NCAA investigation saying Freeze was not believed to be implicated in any major violations and much of the inquiry dates back to actions by the previous Ole Miss staff. In total, the NCAA has accused Ole Miss of 21 different violations. For the most part, Freeze did not address the lawsuit or the NCAA investigation, instead offering plenty of life-coach platitudes-"mental toughness is the secret sauce"-and deflecting questions about how he felt about the case".

Ole Miss self-imposed a post-season ban for this season.

Ole Miss also returns senior All-American Marquis Haynes. The Houston Nutt case and the NCAA scandal facing the school are both relevant, and while they might be uncomfortable to talk about, I doubt it's the last time he'll be asked to speak about them. "It's kind of been around us for a while now, and I sure will be glad for the day to when I can stand here and it's not".
