US President Donald Trump to visit Britain next year: Media report

British officials have been advised that Trump could stop at his golf course in Turnberry, Scotland, during his trip to Paris later this week, the Guardian reported.

It is reminded that Trump accepted the Queen's invitation for him to travel to Britain on a state visit when UK PM Theresa May visited Washington in January.

But it remains to be seen whether a year will lessen the British public's disdain for Trump, and almost 2 million Brits have already signed a petition calling for the cancellation of his official state visit.

The news comes as the Queen and her family prepare to host their first State Visit of the year, with the arrival of King Felipe and Queen Letizia of Spain.

The White House has not set any official date for Trump's trip across the pond.

British Prime Minister Theresa May paid a visit to Trump in the White House earlier this year, shortly after his inauguration.

New Reliance Jio Plans Are Even Better Than Before
The plan allows you to use any amount of data on any data as long as overall usage does not cross 20GB in 2 billing cycles. Lastly, the Rs. 999 plan now gives 90GB data for 60 days, revised from the previous 30 days validity.

Sky suggests the timing of Trump's visit depends on how long May survives as Prime Minister.

But he could still visit the United Kingdom in a less formal capacity before the end of the year, according to reports.

Senior British politicians, including Labor leader Jeremy Corbyn and former Liberal Democrat leader Tim Farron, who called Trump "an embarrassment to America", said the visit should not go ahead.

"The US president said he did not want to come if there were large-scale protests".

But the White House hasn't scheduled a state visit in the almost six months since.

If the President is to make an unofficial visit to the United Kingdom before his official state visit, dropping in on one of his golf courses in Scotland would appear to be one option. Traditionally, though not always, state visits are announced by the Queen during the opening of parliament.
