Chelsea open Alvaro Morata dialogue

As SunSport exclusively revealed in January, the Real Madrid ace is Antonio Conte's ideal striker.

James Rodriguez and Alvaro Morata have both been linked with a move to Old Trafford.

The Sun have picked up on reports in Spain claiming that Chelsea striker Diego Costa could move to Besiktas until the new year and then rejoin Atletico Madrid.

This is coming days after League rivals, Manchester United, announced they have agreed with Everton on the transfer of Belgium global Romelu Lukaku, who was initially a target of the Blues.

Now Chelsea may be tempted to turn their attentions to Morata, with the less than reliable Sky sources in Italy reporting Stamford Bridge officials have already made contact with Real Madrid as they plot a move.

The court also said that copies of the JIT's report would be given to Sharif's family as well as the petitioners. The JIT panel interrogated seven members of the Sharif family, including the Pakistan PM.

The Evening Standard claim Chelsea have now reignited their interest in Morata after opening talks with Madrid and are hoping to wrap-up a £70m deal over the coming days.

We'll have to wait and see whether a deal can be agreed but we'll be given a huge indication as to whether a transfer is close when the Madrid squad fly-out to the United States on their pre-season tour later today.

For his part, Morata would have no problem agreeing a deal at Chelsea.

According to AS, the west London giants have set their sights on signing one of United's previous targets in Alvaro Morata, who is eager to pursue a fresh challenge this summer.
