Duchess Kate is all giggles and laughs at Wimbledon

Defending champion England's Andy Murray and two-time victor Rafael Nadal will take centre stage on the first day of the 2017 tournament.

The Duchess is attending in the capacity of Patron of Wimbledon, a position she took over from The Queen previous year.

It was no surprise that Wimbledon was one of the organisations Her Majesty has stepped down from.

The Duchess is a regular at the All England Club since becoming patron when the Queen announced that she would be stepping down.

Over the years, Kate has often been seen at Wimbledon, but her doctor temporarily banned her from attending in 2013 while she was pregnant with Prince George. We will just be told.

Wimbledon is upon us, which means it's time to watch tennis.

She's always admired some of tennis' greatest players for what they've accomplished in the sport - something she addressed in a new documentary.

Wimbledon is the world's oldest tennis tournament and is held at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club in the South of England.

The All England Club was originally founded for the objective of croquet in 1869, but croquet was rapidly overtaken by the new pastime of tennis. The Grand Slam tournament was founded 140 years ago, although this is only the 131st edition of the championship.
