'Most expensive' Samsung Galaxy Note 8 launch expected in September

The Note 8 is expected to be as attractive if not more attractive than the S8 which was launched earlier in the year and not just a device with a larger screen.

For the Galaxy Note 7, Samsung rushed its production and launch date to beat Apple's iPhone 7 to the market. As yet there are no details on how many units of the S8 and S8 Plus Samsung has sold globally. Samsung Galaxy Note 8 has been subjected to multiple leaks ahead of the launch which does reveal a gist of all the specifications and features about the premium device.

"According to the GFXBench listing, the rugged variant of Samsung Galaxy S8 will sport a 5.4" screen with 2008 x 1080 resolution. Thanks to the murmurs, however, some folks have gone beyond that and have looked to what 2018 may have to offer for the Samsung Galaxy Note 9. All of that hardware doesn't come cheap though, with a report this week indicating that the Galaxy Note 8 will cost around €999 at launch. Samsung's latest Galaxy S8 series of phones in comparison start from Rs 57,990.

The west side of Upper Castaic Lake is still open for recreational use. "Those fuels burned very quickly", Nathan Judy said. In San Bernardino County, crews reported 70% containment on the Zermatt fire near Wrightwood, which consumed 11 acres.

The word out is that the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will bank on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 836 rather than a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 for the US market.

He noted that Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will feature a dual camera setup with a 12-megapixel sensor and a 13-megapixel sensor. The first sees the Galaxy Note 8 include a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, and the seconds sees the fingerprint sensor hidden on the front of the phone. Although the RAM is expected to be more generous at 6GB.

A new report from China says that the Galaxy Stellar 2 is nearly ready for launch. This peripheral aspect of the Galaxy Note 8 is deemed particularly important, as it is an element of the smartphone that distinguishes it from the flagship Galaxy S8, and really makes it feel like a true phablet. Other rumors claim that the Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus will be powered by a 10nm chipset-based Exynos 9810 processor and will be featured with CDMA support.
