Escaped Georgia Inmates Accused of Killing 2 Officers Captured, Authorities Say

Two escaped inmates accused of slaying two Georgia prison guards were captured in Tennessee Thursday following a three-day manhunt.

Dubose and Donnie Russell Rowe escaped after killing two prison guards during a bus transport in Georgia.

Sills described the fugitives as violent repeat offenders who are extremely unsafe, having taken the guards' 9 mm pistols.

Any one with information on the case is urged to call the nearest law enforcement agency by dialing 911.

Sills said it was hard to determine if the two men were being helped by anyone on the outside but said there were an infinite number of possibilities since both men have friends and family in the area.
