Geese dump droppings on Disneyland guests, hitting 17 people

Firefighters responded Friday night to Disneyland, after 17 people were hit with fecal matter, authorities said. It was later found the droppings came from geese overhead.

Seventeen people had a crappy day at the Happiest Place on Earth Saturday.

Emergency services rushed to Disneyland after reports guests had been struck by poo.

Initially it was though human feces was thrown, which is why a hazmat crew was called. Everyone was said to be "healthy and happy" following the scare, according to Anaheim Police.

The case is being handled by 216th Judicial District Attorney Lucy Wilke and will be presented to a grand jury, Hierholzer said. Looking on her Facebook page, Hawkins in recent months frequently posted about her kids and said how lucky she felt having them.

The guests were taken to an area to get cleaned up and Disneyland provided them with clean clothes. "No crime", police said.

In another tweet, the Anaheim Fire Department tweeted there were "No injuries and no transports".
