Diamondbacks celebrate win with John McCain GIF

John McCain was roasted online for a line of questioning where he appeared to conflate separate investigations on the Russian connection and on former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton's email server.Besides the traditional networks, Spanish-language station Telemundo aired the testimony with a voiceover translation.

But given how McCain's questions took over the internet, the Diamondbacks chose the flawless time to break out the John McCain GIF.

"You look back in hindsight, you think, 'Should I have resisted harder?' I said this isn't a hill worth dying on".

Comey again tried to explain that he discussed the findings of the Clinton investigation only after it was completed. "We have not announced, and there has been no predication to announce, whether the Russians may have coordinated with Secretary Clinton".

"In the case of Hillary Clinton, you made the statement that there wasn't sufficient evidence to bring a suit against her, although it had been very careless in their behavior, but you did reach a conclusion in that case that it was not necessary to further pursue her, yet at the same time in the case of Mr. Comey (sic) you said that there was not enough information to make a conclusion".

Apple intros 'HomePod' wireless speaker - announces release date and pricing
The new iPad Pro will have a 10.5-inch screen, placing it between the current 9.7 and 13-inch screens of Apple's flagship tablet. With Apple pricing the HomePod for $349, it's a tough sell compared to the $179 Amazon Echo or the $129 Google Home .

Comey also said he was concerned that Lynch was seeking to align the Justice Department with wording that Clinton's presidential campaign using when referring to the email probe. "I didn't believe she could credibly decline that investigation", Comey replied.

McCain was the last senator to question Comey Thursday in Washington. "Obviously she was a candidate for president so she was clearly involved in this whole situation". But McCain has a good explanation for why his questioning rambled quite so far afield: baseball-induced insomnia.

The senator himself has responded to the reaction from the public, and his office released a statement which said, "I get the sense from Twitter that my line of questioning today went over people's head".

If you're playing catch-up: McCain says he was sleep-deprived Thursday after staying up late Wednesday watching the Diamondbacks. I wanted Mr. Comey to apply the same approach to the key question surrounding his interactions with President Trump-whether or not the President's conduct constitutes obstruction of justice.

"I'm a little confused, Senator", was Comey's response.
