Oklahoma girl gets "Golden Buzzer" on America's Got Talent

Oklahoma girl gets

Yoli Mayor, 21, offered her version of Screamin' Jay Hawkins' "I Put a Spell on You".

Both Darci and her mother, who was waiting in the wings with Tyra Banks, burst into tears as the confetti reigned down on her and Mel B. rushed on stage to tell the girl how incredibly impressive her performance had been. But their daughter is the one with a surprising talent.

Farmer said she uses ventriloquism to overcome her shyness. "I thought it was fascinating and really, really wanted to try it".

Darci Lynne Farmer had been training in elite gymnastics 20 hours a week while competing in pageants and getting straight As in school.

May in major U-turn on social care funding
Asked about taxation, 54% said they thought the Tories would raise income tax, while 70% expect Labour to bring in a hike. Their economic spokesman, Patrick O'Flynn, said it was "wholly inadequate and raising more questions than it answers".

She may have accomplished that with one performance. Still, at present it's pretty darn clear that she is the person to beat, and the person most viewers out there will be the most excited to see again. She kept wanting a puppet. Music and ventriloquism will always be her favorites because it's "a lot more fun". Last year, she performed on NBC's Little Big Shots, where she did her ventriloquist routine with Steve Harvey. Showcasing vocals more headline-worthy than the season's Nicki Minaj-Mariah Carey feud, Glover sealed her fate as the eventual victor.

After all, two ventriloquists - Terry Fator and Paul Zerdin - won seasons two and 10 respectively.

The 12-year-old from Oklahoma City swept us, the judges, and the audience right off our feet right as she started her act. Her next choice, Ed Sheeran's "Make It Rain", had Cowell declaring, "We may have found a solid gold star".

"America's Got Talent" airs Tuesdays and Fridays on News 5 WCYB.
