Bradley scored 23 points on Thursday night, but for the third time in as many home games the Boston Celtics were trounced by LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers. "They just stayed resilient all year, got to the playoffs, and we really stepped our game up", Cavs coach Tyronn Lue said.

Green and Curry, as always, have set the emotional tone for the Warriors, and in these playoffs, it's all about regaining what they lost last June after going up 3-1 in the Finals.

LeBron James scored 35 points and passed Michael Jordan to become the NBA's all-time playoff scoring leader as the Cleveland Cavaliers beat the Boston Celtics 135-102 on Thursday night to claim their third straight Eastern Conference title and a return trip to the NBA Finals.

"The best team in our league the last three years", James said of the Warriors.

The Boston Celtics showed this post-season that they have players who could fill in for Isaiah Thomas when the star point guard was injured. "We have to be ready for the challenge".

In the first championship meeting in 1952, Layne and Walker ran for TDs to give the Lions a 17-7 win and their first championship since 1935.

Golden State Warriors' JaVale McGee, top left, Kevin Durant, top center, Stephen Curry, center right, and Draymond Green, top right, join the rest of their team as they pose with the trophy after their 129-115 win over the San Antonio Spurs in Game 4 of the NBA basketball Western Conference finals, Monday, May 22, 2017, in San Antonio. "We don't go into any series saying we're only going to play four games, we can't approach a series like that, like, "Yeah, we're going to play four.' You approach it with a mindset of, 'Of course we'd love to sweep them but you have to take that game by game.'" Green, for one, will appreciate all the hype around this series".
