The Division's free weekend starts today

The Division's free weekend starts today

Additionally, from May 4 to May 15, the PS4 version of The Division will be on sale for $19.99 Dollars (standard edition) and $31.49 (Gold Edition) through the PlayStation Store.

Of course, the free trial for this weekend will start at different times depending in which region fans reside.

All progress from the free weekend will carry over to the full game if players purchase it. Ubisoft is offering up a free weekend trial of its open-world shooter that starts today and runs through Sunday.

The publisher is discounting the full game to make the deal even more tempting. If you already have the free trial, restrictions will be lifted until the end of the Free Weekend.

Fed holds key interest rate steady, downplays recent weak economic data

"We're pleased to offer this free weekend for Tom Clancy's The Division across all platforms", shared Julian Gerighty, creative director, Tom Clancy's The Division.

Ubisoft's The Division takes place in a post-pandemic New York, where a biological terror attack has crippled America and thrown New York City into chaos.

If you do take part and like what you play, you'll be able to pick up the game's Standard and Gold Editions with a 60% discount on all digital stores until May 9, 2017. This year, two expansions are scheduled for release, and both will be made available to players free of charge. The Division, an autonomous unit of tactical agents leading seemingly ordinary lives, is tasked with saving society.
